Maple Bank Cottage is a lovely, newly refurbished cottage set in the beautiful gardens of a magnificent Edwardian residence, Maple Bank Guest House in the village of Braithwaite, just five minutes drive from the town of Keswick. With uninterrupted views across the Derwent valley towards the lofty Skiddaw and the smaller Latrigg, the cottage is ideally placed for walking, climbing, water sports, and other less strenuous activities like fishing or visiting local pubs and eateries! You will receive a warm welcome from the us, Rhona and Tommy.

We pride ourselves on the service we offer to our guests, both at the cottage and in the Guest House and will try our utmost to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We have plentiful FREE and SECURE parking for our guests' convenience allowing you to enjoy the local walks that are right on the doorstep! We also have the added advantage of secure cycle storage and a drying room for all your wet gear!
